The seasons have shifted, as has my palette. As most of you know I am a proponent of the swilliest of the swill in the summer (lawn mowing beer), but when it gets cold, I am apt to go the opposite direction. I still hate American IPA's for the most part (the Goose Island I had last night was wretched), but time to class it up. Happy weekend OPPO. I'll drink one for each of you

I usually have 1-2 growlers in the fridge with a few cans and bottles of hipster beer to back it up. Occasionally I go full tilt swill and buy Coors Light or whatever, but on a normal day I typically buy only the hipsterest of beer.
Right now: Sweetwater 420 Extra Pale.

I'm on an anti-fungal medication right now and I can't drink, since both the medicine and alcohol are processed by the liver. So spare a moment when you pour to have a thought for those less fortunate than you.
I'll probably still cheat a little, though. Don't tell my doctor.

Dunno, but I worked in the kitchen in a nice beer bar/bistro type place, and they had the stuff on tap. They called it their house beer because they rotated all the taps, except the St. B (as we called it). It was always there. I drank a ton of the stuff, along with Duvel and Gulden Draak, after my shifts ended.

yeah, that doesnt suck as a house beer. We had Fat Tire at the bar I worked at. Not bad, but no St. B

Had Dogfishhead 90 Minute IPA? Consistently one of the top rated beers and my personal favorite IPA.

I love it, not too hoppy, very well balanced. Much better than the 60 and 120!
